 Bicycle Sizing

If you are in the market for a new bike but unsure what size to get we can help. With our Dynamic Fit Bicycle we can replicate the sizing of any bike we carry allowing you to feel the difference between multiple sizes of bikes without ever having to dismount the bicycle.

  • Report detailing best sizes of bikes for you.
  • Report detailing saddle height and setback used during fit.

 $50 - Allow for 30-45 minutes

 North Rim Fit

Proper positioning on the bicycle is the foundation for comfortable and efficient riding. This fit utilizes industry standard methods to establish a safe riding position that will minimize discomfort and increase efficiency. Existing bicycle is set on a stationary trainer and the following adjustments are made to optimize fit.

  • Saddle height.
  • Saddle fore-aft and tilt.
  • Stem length and elevation.
  • Handlebar angle and hood position.

$75 - Allow for 45-60 minutes

 

Dynamic Fitting

Everything is adjustable down to the millimeter on the “Purely Custom Dynamic Fit Bike. On the Fit Bike many adjustments can also  be made while the rider is pedaling, allowing them to instantly feel the difference that minute changes can make. Different riding conditions can be simulated. All of North Rims Dynamic Fittings are performed by a Fit Institute Slowtwitch (F.I.S.T) certified fitter. All parameters of the bicycle are adjusted utilizing rider and fitter input to accomplish a position that is correct for you. This Fit includes:

  • Interview to assess injury history and riding goalsNorth Rim Pro Bike Fit
  • Dynamic saddle height adjustment.
  • Dynamic fore-aft saddle adjustment.
  • Experience up to 3 different saddles to find the seat that is perfect for you.
  • Dynamic handlebar elevation and fore-aft adjustment.
  • Fore-Aft and Medial/Lateral cleat optimization.
  • Manual joint measurements.
  • Recommendations for replacement components for better fit.
  • Recommendations for bicycles that meet your riding needs. 
  • Report emailed to you detailing new bicycle measurements.
  • Detailed physical report with measurements from fit and detailed list of bicycles that would fit you best.
  • 30 days of complimentary follow up contact to help with the new fit transition.

$150 - Road/ $200Triathlon/TT Allow for 1.5-2 hours

Advanced Dynamic Fitting

This fit uses advanced technologies and methods to dial you into your bicycle.  Computrainer SpinScan technology analyzes the rider's pedal stroke in real time and our advanced foot/pedal optimization creates a solid foundation for miles of riding. We also utilize motion analysis software for an in depth view of your posture.

In addition to everything in the Standard Dynamic Fit you receive:

  • Computrainer SpinScan analysis and report.
  • Advanced foot/pedal analysis.
  • Advanced cleat placement.
  • Screening for the need of shims and wedging.
  • Screening for the need of insoles.
  • Video motion analysis.
  • Recommendations for replacement components for better fit.
  • Recommendations for bicycles that meet your riding needs. 
  • Report emailed to you detailing new bicycle measurements.
  • Hard copy  report with measurements from fit and detailed list of bicycles that would fit you best.
  • 30 days of complimentary follow up contact to help with the new fit transition.

$250 - Road/ $300 Triathlon/TT Allow for 2.5-3 hours

Saddle Optimization

If you are experiencing saddle discomfort we have a wide range of saddles to meet your needs. On our Dynamic Fit Bicycle we can quickly change between saddles, saddle angles and positions to optimize your riding experience and reduce discomfort. Existing measurements from you bicycle are mocked up on our Fit Bike and based on rider feedback saddles are swapped and adjusted.

Includes:

  •  Rider interview to assess needs.
    North Rim Pro Bike Fit
  •  Analysis of existing bicycle.
  •  Try up to 4 different saddles.
  •  Minor adjustments to saddle height and fore/aft position.
  •  Adjustment of saddle angle.
